An entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in medical device industry with mechanical engineering background. The Founder and the inventor of Optonol Ltd., an Israeli company engaged with the development, manufacturing and commercializing miniature surgical implants. Its unique Ex-PRESS™ microscopic implant redefines the surgical treatment for patients with medically uncontrolled glaucoma. Under his management the company was acquired (2010) by Alcon Inc., the world leader in the field of eye care.

Dan Gazit
Director and Chief Financial Officer for Mitralix Ltd.
Dan brings over 30 years of extensive experience of international financial background in the medical device industry in Israel, USA and Switzerland. Acted in senior management and financial capacities in Optonol Ltd., engaged with the development, manufacturing and commercializing miniature surgical implants, CardGuard / Lifewatch a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of telemedicine diagnostic and monitoring systems, and other companies.

Dana brings over 5 years in Medical device field including clinical trials approval in Europe (BfArM and FAGG) and Israel (MOH).
